Upcoming Hauls!

Hello everyone:)

I just thought that I would let you know something very quickly:)
I do write haul posts when I purchase something but for the next few weeks or so, I will wait until I have purchased a lot and write a 'Collective Haul' post:)

I thought this might be better than doing smaller posts as they can sometimes only be 1 or 2 products.
So far, I have 2 products on the way to me that I recently ordered, I have a shopping list of a few essentials and then I have some products I am waiting to purchase once I have a little bit more money.

I'm hoping for this collective haul to be a mix of make-up, nails, clothes/accessories and skincare products.

Keep an eye out for my collective haul!:)

Pastel Nails Tutorial:)

Hello guys!

I thought I would do a nail art tutorial today so here it is!
I saw this design whilst watching the Glossybox "Behind the scenes" video.
The design:)
The tutorial;

1. Apply a basecoat to protect your natural nails.
I'm used Barry M's Basecoat, Topcoat & Nail Hardener 3 in 1.

2. Paint your ring finger with a pastel green shade.
I'm used Barry M's Nail Paint in 304 Mint Green.
Apply as many coats as you need to make it opaque.

3. Paint the rest of your nails with a pastel purple/lilac shade.
I'm used Barry M's Nail Paint in 308 Berry Ice Cream.
Again, apply as many coats as you need to make it opaque.

4. Create diagonal white tips on all of your nails.
I used Barry M's Nail Paint - 66 Matt White.
Two coats should make it opaque.

5. Apply a topcoat to protect your design.
I'm used Barry M's Basecoat, Topcoat & Nail Hardener 3 in 1.

Check out the video below:)

Thanks for reading and I hope you enjoyed the design:D

e.l.f. Therapeutic Conditioning Lip Balm [Review With Photos]

Hello guys!

Today I have a review for you! I haven't written a review in a while so I thought I've got to do one!
This review is for the e.l.f. Therapeutic Conditioning Lip Balm.
I have this lip balm in Blackberry Créme so I'm not sure if the others are any different

Packaging
Wind up packaging to show the product.
When I recieved the product, it wound up and down perfectly fine.
After a while, it stops working when you wind it down.
Very easy to work round though!
You have to press it down with your finger or you can leave it up a little and put the lid on:)

Texture
Very very moisturising!
Not the best lip balm to use under a lipstick unless you apply it very lightly.
Doesn't absorb into the lips a massive amount.

Scent!
I really love the scent of this lip balm
This smells like fragranced pens when you have when you're in primary school:)
Very vice smell and you can smell it when you have it on your lips but don't lick your lips as it doesn't taste very nice!

The amount of product you get is quite a lot for £1.50!
It applies clear to the lips and is genuinely a very nice product!

Packaging - 5/10 - Great for travelling, not so great as the mechanism breaks.
Product - 8/10 - Great product but the texture doesn't get absorbed very well.
Price - 9/10 - Great price for the amount of product you get but again the mechanism isn't great but for £1.50, what can you expect!
Would I recommend and repurchase this? - Yes! - I would definitely recommend this product! For dry lips, this is great and for the price you can stock up! I will repurchase this when I run out or before but maybe in a different flavour:)

Thanks for reading and I hope this was helpful!
Please check out my Friday Favourites from yesterday if you haven't seen it already:)

I will really appreciate it if you leave a comment:)

Friday Favourites - Make-up Setters/Powders

HELLO GUYS!

Firstly, if you read my post yesterday, I promised that I would write a review later in the day but my internet broke so I couldn't write anything. I will upload a review either today or tomorrow:)

Anyway! It's Fridayyyyy! I'm back with another Friday Favourites!
I wasn't sure what I was going to do for this week's Friday favourites but then I decided to do make-up setters and powders:)

I have 5 products to include in this post. Four setting powders and the fifth is a setting spray:)
Four out of the five of these products are by e.l.f. Cosmetics and one is by 17.

This is the 17 Pressed Powder - Neutral.
I have been using this product a lot recently and it is really good!
For a cheap, drugstore product this is amazing quality.
You get a very nice and natural finish with this powder and when swatched it is very smooth.
It has a very sheer but natural shade to it and offers a tiny bit of coverage aswell as lasting for a full day.
This also comes with a sponge and there is a mirror in the compact.
This retails for £3.99 for 10g from Boots stores and is available in 3 shades. You can also purchase a shine control version of this powder.

Next are the e.l.f. products:)

This is the e.l.f. Studio High Definition Powder. This was one of the first products I ordered from e.l.f. I ordered this product in January this year.
This has quite a bulky packaging but looks quite posh. As this is quite big, it wouldn't be the best product to take with you for touch-ups.
This comes with a powder puff which I sometimes use and then blend it in with a stipple brush.
This also has a sifter for you to get the product but not a massive amount of it. It is a fine white powder but when transfered and blended into the face it is translucent.
This isn't as natural as the 17 powder and doesn't give any coverage but does give a very nice look:)
This retails for £6 for 8g and is now also available in shimmer and corrective yellow.

This is the e.l.f. Studio Complexion Perfection. This is a powder designed to even out your skintone using for different shades; pink, yellow, blue and green. However, when blended together, they create a white and translucent powder.
The shades are very sheer when swatched, especially the pink so I wrote which colours they are on the swatches:)
I use the yellow and pink to set concealer when I don't use my e.l.f. eye brightener.
This is a great product and really does work to even-out your skintone and set your make-up but if you have an area you want to even-out, you might find it best to use the colours separately.
I think this is a really great product but you may have to touch up during the day.
The size of the compact is great for travelling and comes with a very reasonable sized mirror.
This retails for £3.75 for 13.5g.

This is the e.l.f. Mineral Booster - Sheer. This is a very raved about product from e.l.f. especially from their mineral line.
I use this with my e.l.f. kabuki brush and lighting blend it over the face which gives a very natural look.
When swatched, this has a slight tint but looks very sheer when blended into the skin.
This sets make-up really well and looks really nice. You only need a light amound to cover the skin but again it might be a little big to take with you for touch-ups during the day.
This also has a sifter but it doesn't have a puff. When moving this product around, some of the powder does collect in the lid but you can still use that powder to set your make-up:)
This retails for £7.00 for 17.8g which is great value but you can buy a small pot for £5 which contains 5.1g.

Finally is the setting spray!

This is the e.l.f. Studio Makeup Mist & Set. This is an overall make-up setting spray.
You can use this just to set your face make-up or all of your make-up.
I personally use this after I have applied my face and eye products but before I applied my lip products:)
This really does make-up a difference to the length of time that my make-up stays on.
I used this a few days ago when it was about 30 degrees and where my make-up usually disappears during the day, it stayed the same as when I originally applied it!
This retails for £3.75 for 59g which is amazing value and also an amazing product!

Thanks for reading and I hope you enjoyed this week's Friday favourites:)
I would really appreciate it if you left a comment below:)

Tag: How Much Is Your Face Worth?

HELLO GUYS!

This tag is probably one of the most popular tags in the blogging world so I thought I would join in.
If you haven't heard of this tag, it is basically where you show the main make-up use and write how much it costs to see (as the question says) 'how much your face is worth.'

My everyday make-up products:)
If you are a regular reader of my blog then you would have seen these products in my other posts:)

Let's start with eye products!

1 - Maybelline The One-by-One Volum'Express Mascara - Black £8.49
2 - Rimmel Glam'Eyes Professional Liquid Liner - Black £5.29 (review here.)
3. e.l.f. Mineral Eye Brightener £3.50

 Face products:)

2 - e.l.f. Studio Makeup Mist & Set - £3.75 (This is a finishing spray for all of your makeup)

I tag all of you reading this to work out how much your face 'is worth.'
Thanks for reading!
I would really appreciate it if you left a comment:)

Mini Boots Haul!

Hello guys!

This is going to be a really small and quick post but I thought I would show you all what I purchased earlier today:)

I only purchased two products and I made sure I didn't purchase any make-up products!
One product was essential and the other was an impulse buy:)

This is the Boots Tea Tree & Witch Hazel Peel Off Face Mask.
This was an impulse buy and as bad as it sounds, I've never had a face mask before. I know it's surprising but this was cheap and it has great reviews so I thought I would try it out:)
This was 99p for a 10ml sachet. I also had a coupon to get 150 points:)

This is the Botanics Rosewater Toning Spritz 100% Organic.
I purchased this to replace my Boots toner as I realised it contained alcohol which is really bad for your skin.
I really hope this works!
This is a 150ml bottle and it is currently £3.32 from Boots but the original price is £4.99.

I hope you liked this and thanks for reading!
Check out my Upcoming Posts page to find out what posts I have planned:)

I would really appreciate it if you left a comment:)

Products I Am Currently Trying Out/Testing:)

Hello guys!

Today I am going to tell you which products that I recently purchased and what I am testing out:)
I will review all off these products once I have used them for long enough.

Everything:)
I have a mix of 9 make-up products and skincare products:)

First - make-up products:)

All of the make-up products I am trying are by e.l.f. I have one make-up tool aswell:)
The products are (clockwise from palette in the top-left);
- e.l.f. Studio Translucent Matifying Powder
- e.l.f. Studio Makeup Mist & Set
- e.l.f. Studio Concealer Pencil & Brush (Fair)
- e.l.f. Studio Mini Eyelash Curler
- e.l.f. Mineral Blemish Kit and Brush

I have tested all of these products except the powder and concealer.
I'm not sure what to think of everything yet but I am very surprised at the eyelash curler:)

Skincare products!

Left to Right; - Neutrogena Visibly Clear Pink Grapefruit Facial Wash
- Simple Kind To Eyes Eye Make-Up Remover
- Boots Simply Sensitive Anti-Redness Serum
- LUSH Ultrabland Facial Cleanser

I have tried all of these products so far and I am using the Neutrogena wash as a make-up remover and so far I really like it:)
I'm not sure if the serum is working as the LUSH cleanser claims to do the same thing. If I can, I will return the serum:)

Thanks for reading and like I said, I will upload my reviews of these products once I have had a chance to review all of them.

Make sure you check out my most recent posts and my 'Upcoming Posts' page here.

You Need To Read This!

Hello guys!
This is a bit of an un-usual post for me to do as it isn't related to anything that I have done on my blog so far since I started it in April.

However, I was watching videos on Youtube where a video popped up on the side by Zoella280390, she has some really great videos and I decided to check out her blog:)

I was reading one of her posts where I saw one advertised underneath it, it is called "Why are you so skinny?" I thought it would check it out and it is a really amazing post and I seriously think that everyone should read it!

She talks about how people have asked her if she has an eating disorder because she is slim. I am naturally thin and I have been my entire life and I hadn't seen a post like it before so I gave it a read:)

I think that reading this post will make other slim people happy that she has written it and other people who have asked people why are they so thin a chance to realise why we are.

I have had many occasions where people have asked me the same question and I am just stumped and I have no idea what to say. I have some occasions where people who are a lot thinner than me, ask me why I'm slim (not sure why to be honest!:))

Zoe (who writes the post) also questions why people think it is appropriate for people to ask others why they are slim and says that people think it is morally wrong to say to people "why are you fat?"

I'm just going to let you read the post instead of taking things from it and making a short version:)
I really hope that advertising this post, helps some people who are continuously asked the question to know that YOU ARE NOT ALONE!

Check out the post HERE. It is a little long but definitely and 100% worth it!

Thanks for reading and I hope you can take the time to read Zoe's post:)

Cambridge Haul:)

HELLO GUYS!

Yesterday I went shopping in Cambridge with my friend Shannon:)
So today I thought I would show you what I purchased!:)

Apologies in advance for the bad lighting!
All my goodies!:)
I was quite surprised by myself that I didn't buy any make-up products!
Here are the products I did buy;

This was the first product I purchased and this is the Lush Ultrabland Facial Cleanser.
I got the 45g pot just incase it doesn't work for me and also because the larger pot was a bit too expensive for the first time I try a product.
I tried this product last night and the smell is a bit strong but for about 1-2 minutes it's okay.
This was £6.75 for 45g which is a bit pricey and it is 30p more expensive than the price online so hopefully it was worth it!

I'm sorry about the lighting - the nail polishes are lighter in person.
I purchased 3 nail polishes, I almost purchased a fourth but I was unsure so I will purchase that next time:)
The nail polishes I did purchase are the Barry M Basecoat, Topcoat & Nail Hardener 3 in 1. This is a backup as mine is almost finished and has gone a little gloopy.
I purchased 2 nail paints and they were both pastel shades. I purchased 308 Berry Ice Cream and 304 Mint Green.
I really like the lilac shade and the green is nice and I'm sure I will find a design for me to use this for:)
These were all £2.99. I purchased the lilac and topcoat from Superdrug where they have a 'buy 2 Barry M Nail Paints and save £1' offer.

These are two sachets buy Nair. They are the Nair Gentle & Effective Ultra Hair Removal Sensitive Cream. These were '2 sachets for the price of 1' and I hope they are better than the Veet Spray. This was a bit of an impulse purchase and I have never used these before so I don't no what to expect:)
These were 99p for 2 from Boots.

This is the Neutrogena Visibly Clear Pink Grapefruit Facial Wash.

I purchased this product to use as a make-up remover instead of a facial cleanser:)
I have heard mixed reviews of this but I thought I would give it a go as it was on offer in Boots.
They currently have a '2 for £5' offer on all of Neutrogena's Visibly Clear products.
This product usually retails for £4.94 so I got one bottle for 6p! More than a good offer in my books:)
I tried this last night and it is really good at removing your make-up.
So far, even after one use, I am really impressed with this product when used as a make-up remover:)

 The last product I purchased was;

This is the Simple Kind to Eyes Eye Make-up Remover.
I purchased this as I wasn't sure if the Neutrogena wash would remove all of my eyeliner and mascara.
I chose a Simple product as I have very sensitive eyes and when I used this last night, I was waiting for my eyes to sting but there wasn't any stinging which made me pleasantly impressed!
This claims to remove waterproof mascara but I cannot comment on that claim as my eye make-up isn't waterproof:)
This was £3 from Sainsbury's:)

I will review all of these products once I have used them:) I'm not sure if anyone would like a review of the Nair sachets, please leave a comment below if you would like to see a review of them:)

Thanks for reading! I hope you liked this post and I would really appreciate it if you could follow my blog:)
More posts will be up soon - check out my 'Upcoming posts' page here to see what posts I have lined up:)

Friday Favourites - Liquid Foundations!

HELLO GUYS!

Sorry this is late in the day but this is my Friday favourites post for this week:)
This week's Friday favourites is on liquid foundations!

I have four foundations that I am including in this post:)

First up is a foundation by..... e.l.f. :)

This is the e.l.f. Studio Flawless Finish Foundation (Porcelain.)
Aswell as all of the foundations I am including in this post, I have a love-hate relationship with this foundation!
It has good coverage and there are shades that would suit most skintones or they can be mixed to get the perfect shade:)
It is a little hard to choose a shade online so I went for the lightest because 'Sand' looked too dark for my skintone.
This is a good foundation but I think it is best if you want a slightly lighter coverage and if you have good skin but still want to wear something to even out your skin a little more.
Also, if your skin if overly oily then this won't be for you! It says it is oil free but it can get a little oily if you have oily skin already.
I'm hoping to use this more once my skin clears a bit more:)
This retails for £6.75.

Next is;

This is the Maybelline Dream Satin Liquid Foundation (Ivory.)
This has great coverage and it is a really nice foundation!
I re-purchased this once but I don't usually find a foundation good enough for me to want to re-purchase so it must have been good:)
Two problems with this foundation is the pump doesn't pick up the product that is left at the bottom of the bottle which causes you to waste a lot of product. The other problem I have is that there aren't very many shades for paler skin-tones.
This retails for £7.99.

The next foundation is....;

This is the L'oreal True Match Foundation (C1 Rose Ivory.)
I did purchase the wrong shade of this foundation as it is a little too pink-toned for me.
This also has good coverage and has good lasting power.
This foundation has a fantastic shade range! They have shades beginning with C for people with cool tones, W for warm tones and N for neutral tones. I shouldn't have chosen the C shaded foundation but I managed to make it less pink with a powder with a yellow tone.
The main reason I stopped using this foundation was because it started to make me break-out:( I was really disappointed because I hadn't had this for very long.
This retails for £9.99.

 The last foundation is;
Looks so much more yellow in the picture...
This is my newest foundation and so far the best I have purchased and I have tried more than my fair share of foundations!
I haven't seen many shades of this foundation but luckily for me this seems to be the perfect shade:)
This has better coverage than I would expect and the fruit therapy included is great.
I love the pump mechanism on this as it makes sure that you don't waste any product and so that you can see how much product you have left:)
The one disadvantage of this packaging is the pump doesn't always dispense an entire pump full of product. (It might be best if this is stored up-right as I store my horizontally which may be what is causing the pump not to work 100% of the time.)
Check out my full review of this foundation here. :)
 This retails for £9.99.

Thanks for reading this week's Friday favourites!
Leave a comment below if you have a question relating to any of these foundations or if you have a request for next week's Friday favourites:)

Please follow my blog as I might be doing a giveaway at some point but I would for my blog to be more well-known before I do it:)
